It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the start of summer, and now with Labour Day quickly approaching, we are seeing the summer of 2014 come to an end.
But fear not, we still have one last long weekend left before the kids go back to school, and summer comes to an end. So why not celebrate this Labour Day with a getaway? And, what better way to get there than a limousine?
Here are some suggestions for a fun Labour Day Getaway you can plan with family and friends:
- One last beach trip. Let’s face it, this summer hasn’t exactly been the warmest, and the number of great beach days has unfortunately been pretty low. But the weather is set to be pretty warm this weekend, so why not pack up all your gear and head out to the beach? If you are going in a big group, you may want to all travel together, and a limo bus is the perfect way to all travel together!
- A trek up to the cottage. Again, we know it hasn’t been great cottage weather. But why not spend the last weekend up on the lake with your family and friends? And think, if you rent a limo to take you there, you can relax in the backseat with your loved ones while someone else deals with the traffic heading up north on a Friday night!
- A weekend of wine tours. While the end of summer can be quite sad, the start of fall means beautiful scenery, and great harvests at local orchards and vineyards. Why not use our limo wine tour builder to plan the perfect end-of-summer trip through Niagara wine country, and enjoy the best our area has to offer?
- Somewhere more exotic. End of summer also means that many airlines and vacation providers are offering last-minute getaways at a huge discount. If staying nearby isn’t quite how you want to end your summer, why not book a three-day jaunt somewhere a little more exotic? Booking a limo to get you to and from the airport is the perfect way to start your trip off on the right foot!
Whether you are staying closer to home, or planning a trip away, we here at Gem Limo would like to wish you and your loved ones a happy and healthy Labour Day weekend!
