What is the Niagara Icewine Festival?
The Niagara Icewine Festival is an annual event that takes place every winter in Niagara wine country. Spanning three weekends in January (from January 10 – 26, 2014), attendees have the opportunity to tour Niagara vineyards, learn about the process of making icewine, and learn about a variety of food pairings to go with icewine. You can even drink your wine out of a wine glass made out of freshly carved ice!
This is a great opportunity to learn more about icewine, enjoy some delicious culinary delights, which are made to be paired with your wine, and to explore the Niagara region in the winter. Many restaurants also take part in the festivities, as do hotels, by offering special deals during this time period, so you can also make a fun weekend of it as well!
Consider a Limo Wine Tour to Enhance the Experience
If you are planning on attending the Niagara Icewine Festival with your family or friends, then you may want to consider renting a limo to take you.
The advantages to renting a limo wine tour include the fact that you and all of your passengers will be able to sample as much wine as you wish without worrying about having to drive afterwards, and it’s also a great way to make the weekend extra special for everyone.
